This is a consulting service run by Gustav F. Haas, Ph.D., aimed at present or prospective hearing aid users, professionals engaged in fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and designers and manufacturers of these devices.
 
Dr. Haas's background involves Audiology - over 20 years fitting hearing aids on adult clients, and Electrical Engineering - 15 years of industrial experience in computers and data and voice communication.  He received his Ph.D. from UCLA in Sensory Systems, and master's degrees in Audiology from the University of Iowa and in Electrical Engineering from Yale.  His research includes auditory physiology, and speech enhancement schemes for different hearing losses.
